PapaG TagHunt — Privacy Policy
Effective: September 2, 2026
TagHunt keeps your trips on your device. It requires no account, never tracks you across apps, and never sells your data. There is no analytics SDK.
Data stored on your device
The app stores trips, logged plates, and preferences using iOS standard storage. That data stays on your device unless you choose optional iCloud catch-up, buy TagHunt Plus, or share a card. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.
iCloud catch-up
Optional iCloud Key-Value Store catch-up can copy spots and trips to your other devices signed into the same Apple ID. Apple handles that transport. We do not run a PapaG cloud, and we do not see that data.
Nearby sharing
Nearby family trips use the local network, not the cloud. Devices in the car talk to each other directly. Nothing is uploaded to a PapaG server.
Purchases
Optional TagHunt Plus is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple StoreKit. There is no PapaG account. Apple may collect purchase history to complete the transaction. We do not link that purchase to an account or identity of our own, and we do not use it for tracking. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
What we don't do
No advertising SDKs. No analytics SDKs. No tracking pixels. No account.
Children's privacy
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
